I recall young rabbits at dawn and dusk, emerging to forage in garden and lawn. Sometimes they allowed me to approach closely and, then, akin to noncha¬lance, they’d scratch. Were they unaware, unafraid, or undaunted by my presence?
But scratch they did.... AHHH!
